What's the difference between home care and home health care?
Home health is medical care, like nursing visits or therapy that a doctor orders. Home care is help with everyday life: bathing, meals, company, errands and getting around safely. Meridian Home Care provides non-medical home care, and it works well alongside a home health or hospice team.
Can I call at night or on a weekend?
Yes. We're reachable any hour, any day, including holidays. If your loved one is coming home from the hospital on a Saturday, call us that day.
Can care be just a few hours a week?
Care can be a few hours here and there, regular weekday visits, overnights, or round-the-clock help. We'll talk through what your family needs and set up a schedule that fits.
Do you help with medications?
